Kathy Wakile thinks it’s “convenient” that Melissa Gorga wants to reconcile now that their estranged families will live on the same street. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum threw shade at her cousin’s wife over claims she made on Jeff Lewis Live.
Skeptical:
Joined by Jennifer Aydin in The Clubhouse, Andy Cohen inquired about the Kathy and Richie’s new home that just happens to be on the same street Melissa, Joe Gorga, and their kids live on. “Yeah. [We’re moving on] Melissa Way,” joked Kathy. “Apparently, she owns the street.”
The punchline went over Jennifer’s head. “Is that true?!,” she asked. “No!,” exclaimed Kathy to Jennifer, who was dressed as Taylor Swift who was dressed as The Albatross at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Andy clarified, “But you are building a house right by her place?” Kathy replied, “We are. Yes.”
Stirring the pot, Jennifer prodded, “So she said she wants to get back together. What do you think about that?” Kathy answered, “It’s very convenient.”

Melissa was a guest on Jeff Lewis Live last month and gave a neighborhood update. Kathy “and Richie just bought a lot across the street from me and are building a house diagonal from me. On my street, literally.”
She admitted that she was saddened that Joe doesn’t have a relationship with his cousin anymore because of his estranged sister. “So, I do think it’s unfortunate that that’s family and they’re not together. We are all about family. Screw the show. This has nothing to do with the show. This is truly about Joe having a cousin who lives across the street from him. It feels like it would be weird not to.”
“It’s a first cousin, not a distant cousin. Her mother is still here and doing well – Joe’s aunt. That’s sad to me.” Jeff Lewis challenged Melissa to be the one to extend an olive branch to The Wakiles, for Joe’s sake.
