Real Housewives from across the globe joined forces to call out the racism Jill Zarin and Taylor Armstrong displayed after Bad Bunny’s halftime show at The Super Bowl.
Candiace Dillard Basset, Chanel Ayan, Margaret Josephs, and Crystal Kung Minkoff shared their disappointment in Taylor Armstrong and Jill Zarin’s bigotry.
Crystal and Chanel kept their thoughts short and direct:
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, Crystal, responded to an Instagram thread that had both Jill and Taylor tagged with her opinion of them, “idiots.”
Chanel Ayan from the Real Housewives of Dubai commented, “I had to unfollow.”
“Disgusting 🤮,” added the season 3 contestant on The Traitors US.
Margaret Josephs had more adjectives for Taylor and Jill:
I’m horrified, disgusted, and disappointed,” began the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star. “But, that’s my general feeling everyday.”
Margaret continued to share her POV in Don Lemon’s comment section.
On a positive note, Margaret pivoted to celebrate Bad Bunny’s performance. “Elated by the NFL and Bad Bunny’s beautiful representation of America.”
Candiace Dillard-Bassett dropped bars:
“Y’all need to learn how to appreciate people, places, and things that are not like you. English is not the only language that matters. English speakers do not need to be centered in EVERYTHING. America is land made richer because of her immigrants.”
“Some of us came here by choice. Some of us didn’t.” Candiace continued, “All of us deserve to be seen, heard, and represented. Why do I even need to say this?”
“The entitlement it takes to believe art MUST translate itself for your comfort is wild.”
“Instead of getting on Beyonce’s internet to run your mouth, you could’ve sat there and swayed to the music! The Super Bowl Halftime Show was representation personified, artistic expression, a signal to the diaspora, a nod to resistance, and a reminder that CULTURE DOES NOT NEED YOUR PERMISSION.”
“YOU don’t have to understand every word to understand that it wasn’t made to exclude you.” The Traitors season 4 star concluded, “It just wasn’t made to center you.”
