Actress Jennifer Tilly, told Too Fab that filming reality TV is like a “crazy rollercoaster” with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast.
A Taste of Reality:
Filming RHOBH was a very different experience for Jennifer than she expected! “Watching the show is one thing. Being in the middle of the show is really different.”
“It’s like watching a tornado from a distance. You’re all exhilarated. [But], when you’re in the middle of a tornado, maybe not so exciting. It was weirdly a dream come true. I hang out with these women I’ve been watching for the last fifteen years.”
What to expect for season 15:
“Next season, I think all bets are off,” teased Jennifer.
“There’s been a big shift. Avi [Gabay] isn’t coming back. Garcelle [Beauvais] is not coming back. I gather there will be one or two new, exciting Housewives.”
The Bride of Chucky actress announced, “It’s going to be a powder keg next season. I think it’s going to be interesting to see how things develop.”
Jennifer was coy when asked if she would return as a full-time housewife. “My lips are sealed. I really did enjoy being a ‘friend of’ this season. You can dip in and you can dip out. You’re not too deep into the drama.”
Jennifer on next season’s cast:
Admittedly, Jennifer “did recommend a bunch of people. “I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
“I can’t [name any names]. It’s all super private. But I think they have a really good pool to choose from. I think whoever comes in is going to be very fabulous. Hopefully fun! We need more fun!”
With that said, Jennifer doesn’t think Garcelle can be replaced. “I was so disappointed when Garcelle left. I love Garcelle; I got to know her a lot better this season.”
“She’s just so warm and wonderful. She’d laugh at my jokes, which is really important. I think she’s going to be just fine. She’s a major motion picture star. She’s got her life, her beautiful children. I think she’s ready to move on. I think it’s going to be hard on Sutton. Sutton and Garcelle were so close.”
Nonetheless, the Academy Award nominated actress enjoys her RHOBH co-stars. “I really like all the women. They all really like me.”
“Hopefully, I’ll get to know them better than I did last year. I really adore those ladies. They’ve all been so kind to me and invited me to their parties and events, and lunches. They’re all generous with their time.”
