After 33 months at Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Jen Shah is home.
According to reports from PEOPLE, Jen’s husband, Sharrieff Shah, and her two sons were there to pick her up.
The release:
Jen Shah had been at the minimum-security facility alongside Elizabeth Holmes and Ghislaine Maxwell since she began serving her six-and-a-half-year sentence. She surrendered herself on Feb. 17, 2023, nearly a year after pleading guilty.
Since then, Jen’s sentence was reduced a number of times. Thanks to good behavior, participation in prison programming, and financial payments she has been making to victims, Jen was released in less than 3 years behind bars.
Jen’s post-prison placement:
There were two options for Jen post-release. According to BOP policy, Jen could either have been released to her home or transferred to a halfway house to complete the remaining portion of her sentence under community confinement supervision.
It was decided that Jen will be at home for the remainder of her time. She did report to a halfway house earlier in the day on Wednesday, Dec. 10, for an orientation program, before heading back home with her family.
Jen’s rumored new home:
The US Sun reported the new Shah residence is a 15-minute drive from the University of Utah, where Jen’s husband works.
The 2,200-square-foot home is still spacious with 4 bedrooms, an office, and 3 bathrooms. This half-acre property is in a standard housing development with neighbors immediately next door.
Real estate records indicate Jen’s husband and kids have been residing in the home since October 2022. It was purchased for just over $700k.
