Jax Taylor revealed that Tom Sandoval reached out to him “more than” anyone else after he went into an in-patient treatment program and was served divorce papers. The Valley star even explained why he thinks Tom may be suffering “PTSD” post-Scandoval.
During an episode of the When Reality Hits podcast, Jax explained how the controversial Vanderpump Rules personality was there for him during a difficult time.
Frenemies turned friends, again:
Brittany Cartwright‘s estranged husband explained that “Tom Sandoval has reached out to me more than anybody … and I know people are going to be shocked by that. I’ve been hanging out with him a little bit more lately.”
Sandoval “reached out to me while I was in the facility, just checking in. ‘How [are] you doing? What’s going on?’ I was shocked because I hadn’t heard from Tom in a long time. Now, I probably talk to Tom 3-4x a week.”
Jax continued, Tom Sandoval “comes to the bar – sings karaoke. He’s on tour right now, but I just hung out with him, his mom, and his dad. I love Tom and I will always love him … no matter what he does. He’s my best friend, along with Tom Schwartz. They’re both my best friends.”
“People make mistakes in life, but you’ve got to move on from it. We all have to forgive each other at some point,” reasoned Jax.
Jax on the magnitude of Scandoval:
“I can’t comprehend what he went through,” added Bravo TV‘s bad boy. “That Scandoval thing was nation-wide. Regardless of how you feel about Tom Sandoval, you have to remember what he went through. The world just came down on him.”
“I think he’ll get past [Scandoval] at some point, but I don’t think he’ll ever fully recover from it.” Jax continued, “I think the world came down on him so hard that he has PTSD from it. I really, really do.”
