The Valley alum Jax Taylor filed a restraining order against his estranged wife and baby mama, Brittany Cartwright, claiming she sabotaged his career and cost him a $175,000 television opportunity.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Jax alleged that Brittany spread lies about him online and contacted potential employers in an effort to interfere with his brand deals and contracts.
Jax claimed he had been cast on FOX’s Special Forces, but was axed from the show just days before filming was scheduled to begin. According to his filing, Brittany allegedly contacted the network and condemned the decision to “give a platform to an abuser.” He further alleged that she threatened to “evoke public consequences if Fox moved forward with her ex as a contestant.”
Jax claimed that he “has no employment and no employment prospects.” He said his “sole regular income is $5,000-per-month” from a deal that is set to expire in November. “His savings are rapidly diminishing,” the filing stated. “His mental and emotional calm, rebuilt at great personal cost through recovery, has been destroyed.”
The former Vanderpump Rules star also accused Brittany of using her podcast, Instagram, and national television platform “to demean and humiliate” him in ways she allegedly knew he would see.
Jax additionally alleged that Brittany physically attacked him “on numerous occasions,” claiming she slapped and pushed him, threw objects and food at him, and called him profanities in front of their son. He claimed she also used crude nicknames for him, including “assh*le,” “loser,” “d*ckhead,” and “dirty d*ck.”
The allegations come after a judge granted Brittany a restraining order against Jax last week. Brittany reportedly alleged that Jax threatened to “gut her like a fish.”
The claims in Jax’s filing are allegations and have not been established as fact.
