Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Eva Marcille was a guest on the Getting Real With the Housewives podcast and revealed if she was open to appearing on Bravo TV again.
Is Eva planning on returning to RHOA?
“I never say never, but I’m looking into scripted [projects]. That’s my joy … and my businesses and my babies.”
Still, Eva remains a supporter of the franchise. “I am a fan, I must say. I do watch, and I love it.”
The America’s Next Top Model winner became a friend of the ATL Housewives during season 10. Eva was promoted to full-time Housewife the following year and was a main cast member for seasons 12 and 13.
In 2020, Eva who is promoting her new Lifetime movie, Pushed Off a Plane and Survived, announced she was leaving RHOA after three seasons.
In a statement at the time, she said, “After speaking with my family and representatives, I believe that what I hope to accomplish for the culture and community will be better served by focusing on other opportunities.”
Circling back to ANTM …
Eva was “gobsmacked” by what she saw from Tyra Banks and models on Netflix‘s three-part docuseries, Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model.
In an interview on CBS Mornings, Eva, the Cycle 3 winner of ANTM, detailed her reaction to the viral streamer. “I was in awe. My mouth was wide open. To be a part of a club, and not know what’s going on in the club is crazy.”
According to Eva ‘the diva‘, neither Tyra nor production invited her for an interview. “They didn’t ask me,” she said. “It was very surprising.” Eva Marcille [then Eva Pigford] was seen briefly in a package featuring contestants who went on to find success, but that was it.
“Being that I was the shortest girl on my season, and the idea of a Black girl and this short in the modeling business, it’s unheard of. It will never happen,” she said, recalling how improbable her win once seemed.
