Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant had a shady response ready when asked about Karen Huger commentary on why Gizelle was cast on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Gizelle was asked to react to Karen’s comment about her inclusion in the Peacock series.
Gizelle didn’t hold back, delivering a pointed jab at her longtime frenemy’s recent legal troubles. “Clearly, we couldn’t get her because she was in jail. So, enough said,” Gizelle replied.
As Gizelle delivered the shady remark, Andy attempted to conceal his response by taking a sip of his cocktail. However, the WWHL host ultimately covered his face with his interview cards, seemingly struggling to keep his reaction under wraps.
The exchange added another layer to the ongoing tension between the RHOP co-stars, who have traded plenty of shade over the years.
In Season 11, Episode 2 titled “Sofia Home!“, Karen Huger threw a themed party to celebrate her return home after serving a six-month prison sentence.
Karen drew inspiration from the iconic character Miss Sofia from The Color Purple to symbolize her own resilience, survival, and strength after her difficult legal period and DUI crash. She made her dramatic entrance quoting Miss Sofia’s famous movie line, “All my life I had to fight!”
Karen (aka Miss Sofia) wasn’t the only person Gizelle challenged. She straight-up referred to Wendy as a “scammer” after being arrested on multiple counts of felony fraud.
