Former Summer House stars Paige DeSorbo and Hannah Berner vowed not to profit from Ciara Miller‘s heartbreak on their podcast, Giggly Squad.
ICYMI, Ciara was played (again) by West Wilson, who led her on last summer only to hook up with one of her best friends, Amanda Batula.

Paige began, “Ciara is our real friend in real life. So we have been talking to her, consoling her. We are behind her 100%. We would never capitalize or monetize off of our friend’s heartbreak.”
“Ciara is a strong, intelligent, capable woman. She will speak her truth when it is her time. I would never speak for her. And also, this is reality TV. There is very concrete reasons on why Hannah and I are no longer a part of reality TV. It’s one of the scariest things you can ever do in your entire life. And it’s partly why we created Giggly Squad.”
Hannah gave more insight into how far reality TV has deviated from the plot. “Giggly Squad was created after we saw how [producers] wanted us to pick fights. We felt like so much was on the cutting room floor. Giggly Squad is where we could just be ourselves and laugh.”
“And I do have to just shout out Ciara,” continued Hannah. “I was supposed to be beefing with her from the second I met her. We should never have had a chance. It was immediate. ‘You two need to fight over a man.’ The second I met her, I looked her in the eye, and we were like, I love you. You love cats. I fuck with you. She’s had my back since the day I met her, and I feel the same way towards her.”
Paige added, “We are real friends. So if you think that I haven’t gone over the same scenarios so many different times over the past year with my girlfriends, you’re crazy. It is weird to see things on the internet because those are my real girlfriends.”
