The drama is brewing in the OC — and Emily Simpson is giving us a taste before the season even starts.
With Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 right around the corner, Emily is already clocking her castmates, and this time it’s Gretchen Rossi catching heat.
Despite Bravo hyping Gretchen’s return (and reigniting her feud with Tamra Judge), Emily says don’t expect fireworks right away.
Why? According to her, Gretchen was scared.
“You know, Gretchen gets scared too,” Emily told E! News.
“Don’t let her fool you. Gretchen can be very strong on the red carpet, and very strong in interviews.”
But when it came to actually facing Tamra in person? Not so much. Emily claims it took a while for Gretchen to even speak to Tamra — and that she had to push for the moment to finally happen.
“I’m like, girl, then why are you here?”
While last season involved a Shannon vs. Alexis showdown, we can expect this season to focus more on the unresolved tension between Tamra and Gretchen.
That’s if Gretchen can work up the nerve…
