Emily Simpson’s Wife Swap episode was the gift that kept on giving!
On the newest episode of Wife Swap, the Real Housewives of Orange County star traded lives with Caley Svensson — a New Jersey stay-at-home mom, barn lover, and, as it turns out, someone with a bit of history with Joe and Melissa Gorga.
After the episode aired, Caley hopped on TikTok to share life updates and some unprompted Jersey tea, too.
Apparently, the Svensson family isn’t new to the world of reality TV.
Not only have they filmed Wife Swap, but Caley revealed that opportunities just “find them” — from Say Yes to the Dress to an HGTV home-buying show.
And then came the Gorga connection.
Before settling into the stunning home featured on the show, Caley claimed Joe Gorga once posted her former house online, advertising it as one of his “flips.”
“It was a little scam-ish,” Caley admitted, adding that she eventually asked him to take it down — which he didn’t do right away.
“Eventually the picture was taken down and he admitted that the house he claimed to have flipped was obviously not mine,” she said.
Caley, who grew up in Franklin Lakes and now lives about twenty minutes away from the Gorgas, clearly has deep Jersey roots.
And there’s the fact she’s a natural on camera.
Scrolling through the comments, viewers couldn’t help but suggest she’d fit right in on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
