Dancing With the Stars has produced plenty of flirtations, showmances, and rumored romances over the years, but only a select few partnerships have turned into something much bigger than a Mirrorball.
Three DWTS pros took their relationships with their celebrity partners all the way to the altar: Kym Johnson & Robert Herjavec, Artem Chigvintsev & Nikki Garcia, and Britt Stewart & Daniel Durant.
While two of these couples are still together, one marriage ended in a very public divorce.
Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec
DWTS’s first pro x celeb showmance turned romance was between Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec. The couple proved that a DWTS partnership can turn into a lasting love story.
Kym and the Shark Tank star were paired together for Season 20 of Dancing With the Stars in 2015. Their ballroom partnership eventually turned romantic after the season wrapped.
The couple got engaged in 2016 and married later that year. Their family continued to grow when they welcomed twins, Haven and Hudson, in 2018.
Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia
The DWTS love story between Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia had plenty of twists and turns.
The pair met as partners during Season 25 of Dancing With the Stars in 2017. Although their romance didn’t immediately take off, the two eventually reconnected after Nikki’s relationship with John Cena ended.
Nikki and Artem went public with their relationship in March 2019. By November of that year, the couple was engaged. They welcomed their son, Matteo, in July 2020. Two years later, the couple took another major step and married in Paris in August 2022.
Their relationship eventually took a very different turn.
Following a domestic violence incident in 2024 that resulted in Artem’s arrest and significant media attention, the couple separated. Their divorce was ultimately finalized in 2024.
Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant
Fan favorite Britt Stewart and actor Daniel Durant are the newest addition to the DWTS pro-and-celebrity marriage society.
The pair were partnered together during Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars in 2022. Their connection continued after the competition, and their professional partnership eventually became a romantic relationship.
The couple went public with their romance in 2023. Daniel proposed to Britt on Christmas Day that same year, and the couple continued planning their future together. In August 2025, they officially became husband and wife.
