The Traitors US star Dorinda Medley was “surprised” to hear that Carole Radziwill was returning to Real Housewives of New York in a ‘friend of’ role. Dorinda thinks her friend should come back as a lead.
ICYMI, Bravo TV dropped that season 14 and 15’s Jessel Taank, Erin Lichy, and Sai De Silva will return to RHONY for its 16th season. Three new Housewives, Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye, were added to the cast.

The Lady of Bluestone Manor told her SiriusXM audience she “knew nothing about” Carole’s RHONY return, despite them being “quite close.” Carole keeps “Her cards very close to her chest,” continued Dorinda.
“I don’t know if she knows any of the girls,” dished Dorinda, who thinks Carole can “bridge” the original and reboot. “I think that Carole’s just a New York character.”
Dorinda reasoned that since Carole is “very close” to Andy Cohen and that the reboot “needs a character to unify it back to the old a little bit.” She noted that Carole had “such a great comeback on Watch What Happens Live and BravoCon.”

“I think she should be full-time,” divulged Dorinda.
“A ‘friend of,’ that’s too little. She should be … I don’t know if I could as a full-time Housewife go back and be a ‘friend of’ with these new girls.”
Dorinda admitted she “didn’t see that coming. After Carole left, she didn’t seem to like it anymore. You know what I mean?”
Dorinda added that she hadn’t spoken to Carole since the news broke and found out when everyone else did.
“I mean, if she wanted to tell me, she would tell me, right? … Someone else texted,” Dorinda explained. “I think it’s going to be interesting to see because the girls are a lot younger. And it’s a different world than the world she was [in]. She really kind of knew us. But I just don’t know. I don’t know the new show anymore.”
