Returning Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania told PEOPLE that she’s going to miss the ladies who weren’t asked to return to the show.
With that said, the ‘friend of’ the upcoming cast of Real Housewives of Rhode Island is staying open-minded and open-hearted for the RHONJ newbies, as she doesn’t like change.
From the desk of Dolo:
“We’re back. We are back. There’s a change. We’ve been with the same girls for so long. I will miss the girls who aren’t coming back. I’m from New Jersey. We don’t like change, right?”
“But I’m embracing everybody, and I’m looking forward to starting again,” she continues. “It becomes a part of your life, so I’m ready to go back. I miss it. You probably know as much as I do, because we don’t have anything solid yet except for the fact that we’re coming back. Which, hey, I’ll take it.”
News of RHONJ’s return came on March 24, when Bravo revealed that the series will begin filming this spring. This followed a long pause after rifts among the cast — which featured Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jenn Fessler — led to the unprecedented cancellation of the season 14 reunion in 2024.
Returning to RHONJ:
Last week, Bravo TV made an official announcement to their Instagram page about the future of RHONJ. “Is BACK better? RHONJ is on display as Teresa Giudice, Dolores, and Melissa Gorga begin filming Season 15 soon!”
The RHORI premieres Thursday, April 2, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
