Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Dolores Catania, was a guest at Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s Two T’s In a Pod live event and spoke about her ex-husband, Frank Catania‘s upcoming wedding.
But, before Dolo dished on Frank and Brittany’s nuptials, she spoke about the future of RHONJ:
The audience expressed where they stood in the battle between sister-in-laws Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. Additionally, the crowd made it clear they weren’t happy RHONJ isn’t filming again until 2025 … with the future cast being unknown.
Tamra asked Dolores, “Where would you like to see the franchise go?” Jersey’s Switzerland answered, “Of course [I want everyone to come] back. I don’t like change. I wanna see everyone come back.”
Tamra joked, “We know. You still hang out with your ex-husband!”
This is when Dolores dropped the bombshell about who is officiating Frank’s wedding:
Dolo hilariously doubled down on Tamra’s snark. “… Who lived with my ex-boyfriend!”
Teddi inquired, “Is he going to officiate your wedding when you marry Paulie?”
Dolores responded, “Oh. That’s something I never thought of.” Tamra wondered, “Are you going to officiate his wedding?”
Deadpanned, Dolores answered, “No. David is.”
Time stood still inside Burbank’s iHeart Theater.
“WHAT?!” exclaimed the TWOTs in unison. Teddi couldn’t believe her ears. “You are lying to me right now.” Seemingly unaware Teddi wasn’t being literal, Dolores clarified, “No, I’m not. I don’t lie.”
Tamra, like many of us in the live audience, was still processing this bizarre bombshell. “Wait. David is your ex-boyfriend …”
“Yeah,” answered Dolores.
Teddi finished her co-host’s thought. “… And he’s officiating the wedding that had to be postponed because of the weather conditions?”
The panel and the audience alike sat in silence, stunned.
“I’m on the ground,” Teddi teased before paying Dolores a compliment. “You do a good job of putting people back together.”
“I know! But I couldn’t do it for my own,” admitted Dolores. “That was the hardest thing. It really was.”
Sounding defeated, Dolores concluded, “I tried.”
