Actress/model Denise Richards says her estranged husband Aaron Phypers and his family “crossed a line” by bringing her adopted daughter, Eloise, into the public chat and starting a GoFundMe page.
For context, Aaron’s family started an online charity campaign for him on January 2nd. After massive backlash, it was removed later that day. The GoFundMe was active again on January 8th. ($60 of Aaron’s $30,000 goal has been earned, lol.)
Don’t mess with Denise F*cking Richards:
On Tori Spelling’s Mispelling podcast, Denise protected her daughter and her fan community from being manipulated by Aaron.
“Say whatever you want about me, which [Aaron and his family] have. I’ll deal with that after the divorce.”
“But, when you cross a line and bring my youngest daughter into trying to get money from strangers, it’s outrageous.”
“That is wrong,” reiterated the Drop Dead Gorgeous actress. “It’s hard enough going through a divorce and the loss of that, but then to discover who this person really is, that’s what is beyond hurtful.”
“Then, to go to this level, to bring my daughter into it. It’s more of a personal thing. It is shocking, but whatever. I’m not surprised.”
Out of respect for Denise and her daughter, we’ll keep it moving …
Circling back to the GoFundMe:
Aaron’s mother, Patricia Phypers, launched a GoFundMe page earlier this month to help raise money for her son’s “legal defense.”
Patricia referred to Denise’s youngest daughter, Eloise, 14, in the website’s description. For the record, Aaron never completed the adoption paperwork for Eloise. His mom claimed that she “cared for Eloise for weeks” while Denise was traveling.
“Help my son fight for the truth and for Eloise. I’m asking for help for my son’s legal defense. We are facing eviction. Our utilities are being shut off. My pension is gone. We are out of options.”
“Please, if you have ever loved a child or grandchild, help my son fight for the truth and for Eloise.”
