Boy Meets World actress Danielle Fishel sang the highest of praise for the Dancing With the Stars season 34 cast, specifically The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, Whitney Leavitt, despite her reputation as a villain.
Danielle sees something in Whitney that a lot of TSLOMW viewers don’t see:
According to the actress and podcaster, the reality TV star is someone she’s come to rely on. “Whitney was one of the first people I reached out to. So was Mark [Ballas, Whitney’s pro-partner].”
“I texted Whitney and I said, ‘I’m having a really hard time this week.’ She said, ‘Talk to me. Gosh, she’s good people. I’m going to miss her.”
“I’m going to miss Jordan [Chiles] so much, too. Of course, I’m going to miss my boy, Dylan [Efron]. I love my alliance partner since day one. Robert and I both got super emotional. We all did. I’m going to miss Alix [Earle]; I’m going to miss Andy [Richter]; I’m going to miss Elaine [Hendrix]. I’m truly going to miss everybody.
Whitney was thought to be inconsiderate in her reaction to a surprise elimination early this season:
TMZ caught up with Danielle to ask if she thought Whitney’s reaction to Lauren Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong‘s elimination was “tone deaf.” ICYMI, it was speculated that Danielle popped off at Whitney for appearing happy after Lauren was voted off.
“It’s a roller coaster of emotions,” explained Danielle at the time. “We can be happy for ourselves and our friends that we’re safe, and also sad because somebody is gone.”
“So, I definitely didn’t put her in her place. I just went to comfort my friend.”
