Cynthia Erivo has spoken!
The Wicked star sat down with W Magazine and revealed she’s one of us yet, and shares her Bravo takes.
Cynthia tells the mag that her favorite reality shows are both the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Real Housewives of Potomac.
“It’s fantastic, they’re very honest,” Elphie begins.
“I am a Nene Leakes fan. I love her. Where is she? Bring her back!”

Bravo Vs. Nene
Nene Leakes has had a polarizing relationship with Bravo since exiting Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2020.
The RHOA alum took three season off between season 7 and 10 to pursue acting. Nene starred on shows to include The New Normal, Glee and, Dynasty.
However, since leaving the franchise “for good” in 2020, Nene and Bravo have gone back and forth with various allegations.
On April 20, 2022, news came out that Nene was suing the network, and Andy Cohen for fostering a negative, racist, and hostile work environment.
Nene’s suit allegations:
- During the first season, Kim Zolciak-Biermann said that she didn’t want to attend a group barbecue, alleging words were said to the effect of, “I don’t want to sit around with NeNe and eat chicken.’
- In the fifth season, Kim allegedly made “racially offensive and stereotypical” comments about the new home of housewife Kandi Burruss. She allegedly characterized the neighborhood as a “ghetto.”
- Kim allegedly used the N-word to refer to Nene and the cast after a dispute. She also alleged that Nene’s home was “roach nest.”
However, in August of 2022, Nene dropped the lawsuit without prejudice.
“Leakes hereby dismisses this action and all claims asserted by Leakes without prejudice, thereby concluding this case before this Court at this time.”
“All Parties consent and stipulate to the foregoing dismissal. No party will seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees in any submission to this Court.”
Andy has also seemed to bury the hatchet against Nene, even bringing her up on a recent WWHL.
It seems like the door might be slightly ajar for Nene to return to RHOA.
