Summer House star Carl Radke is disappointed that neither West Wilson nor Amanda Batula took accountability at the season 10 reunion.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Carl detailed what we wanted from the reunion vs what he got.
Another disappointment from West and Amanda:
Carl explained, “I think a lot of us were hoping to feel the feeling you get when someone actually apologizes and takes accountability.” Unfortunately, he still “didn’t” get those feelings from the reunion. “That’s what’s hard. People are really hurt.”
“Watching that sh*t, the footage of West at his family house with Kyle. Like, he not only brought Ciara home, he brought Kyle home, and then does that,” Carl continued. “It’s just diabolical. So watching some of that clip is, like, it’s hard to kind of process.”
In retrospect, Carl “100 percent” sees Amanda and West’s behavior throughout the season in “a new lens” knowing that they’re together. “I’ve never put my hands on women that I’m not dating or hooking up with. So watching some of that back actually pisses me off. It’s upsetting. I don’t know, I don’t like it.”
Since West and Amanda’s relationship was exposed, Carl is still “questioning everything” — even after the reunion. He promised there is “more to come” from the conversation between Amanda and West.
What comes next?
“I’m gonna remain positive,” continued Carl. “I feel like we got a lot off our chest, put it all on the table, but I think even since the reunions ended, I’ve seen other little things happen. Podcasts [and being] spotted out in public tell me a different story. Those tell me you don’t give a sh*t.”
For Carl, the only “real apology” from Amanda and West at this point would be to see them change their behavior. “You can say you’re sorry all day long, but West and her need to really dig deep and find themselves. I’ve said many times, I don’t hold space for sh*t like that.”
He added, “A lot of us have really been through a lot on this show, and this feels really just insane and different and manipulative and deceitful. I can’t recall a time when it felt like that.”
