While Brittany Cartwright hints she didn’t last long on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, she is “proud” of herself for attempting something so physically daunting.
The Valley star was a guest on Tom Schwartz’s podcast, Detox Retox, and dished on the physically trying experience.
Brittany did her best:
“It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I’ve been very open about heights and how that terrifies me. So, doing different things like that, I’m proud of myself.”
Schwartz noted that reality TV pushes people to their “limits.” Brittany agreed, admitting she cried “at least three times” while filming Special Forces.
“Let’s just say I tried,” she said with a laugh, while remaining tight-lipped on how she ultimately fared on the reality show. She admitted, however, to doing her homework.
Brittany said she watched previous episodes of Special Forces, including when former VPR costar, Tom Sandoval, competed in season 2.
“I was like, ‘Wow, Tom actually was impressive on that show.’ Except for that time JoJo Siwa carried Tom,” she said. “That’s hilarious.”
What we know about season 4 of Special Forces so far:
Brittany was announced as one of the 18 contestants. The quasi-celebrities compete in various physically and psychologically difficult challenges with no eliminations.
Cruz’s mom will compete against fellow Bravolebrities, Teresa Giudice and her oldest dorter Gia Giudice, and former Real Housewives Eva Marcille (Atlanta), and Chanel Iman (Dubai.)
Additional cast members include Shawn Johnson East and husband Andrew East, Jessie James Decker and husband Eric Decker, Kody Brown, Mark Estes, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, Jussie Smollett, Randall Cobb, Johnny Manziel, Ravi V. Patel, Christie Pearce Rampone, and Nick Young.
Season 4 of the competition series was held in Morocco to “endure the extreme circumstances of urban warfare,” according to the season’s description.
“All recruits must learn the art of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. They are faced with training challenges across the country’s expansive desert terrain. That includes a supply search in an abandoned village where they must race to extraction. Also, competitors will compete in a treacherous rat-run through dark and narrow tunnels. A plane shell dunk drill where pairs of recruits will be submerged underwater. They must escape, a death-defying urban ladder crossing between buildings 50 ft above the urban streets, and much more.”
Special Forces season 4 premieres on Fox Thursday, September 25, at 9 p.m. ET.
