Turns out, Brittany Cartwright didn’t just bring the charm to Jax’s—she brought the budget, too.
On a recent episode of The Valley After Show, Brittany opened up about the behind-the-scenes reality of launching Jax’s Studio City, the bar she helped create alongside her now-estranged husband, Jax Taylor.
Despite being a hands-on partner, Brittany claims she hasn’t seen a single cent in return.
“I never made a cent off Mamaw’s Beer Cheese,” Brittany revealed, adding that she also personally funded much of the bar’s decor—including the succulent wall, vases, and the eye-catching neon signage that fans instantly recognize.
“I never got a dime back that I put into that place,” she added, clearly frustrated by how things played out.
Brittany, who shares son Cruz with Jax, went on to say that she poured a lot of her time, energy, and money into making the space what it is today.
And yet, she was never given any financial stake or return on her investment.
ICYMI: Brittany was also gearing up to open her own establishment—appropriately named Britt’s—but sadly, the deal fell through before her vision could come to life.
With Jax and Brittany’s relationship currently on the rocks and their finances under scrutiny, fans can’t help but side-eye how uneven the bar tab really was.
