Former RHOA star Brit Eady didn’t ring in the new year with her husband, Michael Cunningham.
Brit revealed on the final day of 2025 that she and her husband have ended their marriage.
“I’m posting this on the last day of 365 to remove this facade of faking like this marriage is going to work,” she wrote on December 31.
“Everybody can’t come into the next chapter. I’m done hurting, and I want to be happy in my next chapter. Cheers to 2026 of putting my happiness first.”
However, Brit also made it clear that her decision to walk away has nothing to do with any rumors circulating online.
As much as she “can’t stand him,” she wasn’t going to allow the internet to think her decision to part ways was due to “false narratives.”
ICYMI: Brit was a one-and-done Housewife, appearing on Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Her feud with Kenya Moore ultimately led to Kenya’s suspension from the network after Kenya displayed explicit photos of a younger Brit at her Kenya Moore Hair Care event.
With Kenya gone, tensions then turned to Brit’s closest ally on the show, Kelli Ferrell.
The besties-turned-enemies had a falling out by season’s end, and Brit was MIA at the reunion.
I’m sure we would have learned more about her marriage dynamic at the reunion after seeing just a small fraction of what went down in her relationship.
But I also don’t think any of us really care…
