Crack open a Loverboy and pour one out for Ben Waddell, who won’t be returning for Summer House Season 11.
The one-season Summer House wonder confirmed his departure in an exclusive statement to Deadline, announcing that both he and his girlfriend, Sabrina Belle, are stepping away.
“Ben and Sabrina had the greatest time last summer. There’s so much love that exists between the friend group and the entire Bravo family. As for the future, time will tell. They’re looking forward to what’s ahead,” the statement read.
Prior to joining Summer House, Ben starred as one of the “Bachelors” on Season 11 of The Bachelor Australia in 2023.
ICYMI: Ben entered the house as a friend of Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula.
Early in the season, viewers learned that Ben and Amanda had gone skinny-dipping together while attending a mutual friend’s wedding in Italy.
Their flirtation quickly became a storyline, especially as Kyle and Amanda’s marital issues unfolded.
Fellow newbie Bailey Taylor also made a few comments about Ben and Amanda’s flirty dynamic, which Ben clearly didn’t appreciate—especially with speculation swirling that he was secretly dating Sabrina Belle on and off at the time.
At the reunion, Bailey accused Ben of being “aggressive” toward women, pointing to their heated confrontation in the house.
Season 11 is expected to begin filming soon, with cameras historically going up around Fourth of July weekend.
In addition to Ben, West Wilson and Amanda Batula are also sitting this summer out.
