Anna Delvey wears her court-ordered ankle monitor in her Dancing With the Stars pro photo as the rest of the season 33 cast was officially announced.
It looks like we are in for a wild season!
Inventing A Ballroom Dancer:
ABC partnered Anna with Ezra Sosa, a first-season professional dancer on DWTS this season! He posted two photos with the scammer to his Instagram grid. The caption stated, “Excited to announce my very first partner for DWTS is none other than the iconic Anna Delvey. 💁🏻♀️🪩Thrilled to be hitting the dance floor with someone who knows how to keep everyone on their toes—both in and out of the ballroom. We’re ready to hustle our way to the top—just without the wire transfers this time. 😘 💃🏽🕺🏽”
While Ezra is brand new to this scene, his bringing up the ‘hustle’ and ‘wire transfers’ is shady (and true), it proves that Ezra is going to fit into the reality TV space swimmingly.
If you’re unfamiliar with Anna Sorokin ‘Delvey,’ the “fake German heiress” was the subject of a nine-part Netflix mini-series, Inventing Anna, based on her long-lasting con scam that allowed her to live life luxuriously.
I have to admit, I can’t wait to see how DWTS’s unbelievable costume department will style Anna’s ankle ‘bracelet.’
For the record, Anna Delvey will be the first ever contestant to compete while serving a prison sentence … and donn an ankle monitor while performing.
