Sad news for Andy Cohen and the entire Watch What Happens Live family.
During Thursday night’s all-new episode, Andy announced on air the passing of Kyra Samson.
“I have some devastating news to share from our Watch What Happens Live family,” Andy began.
“During her four wonderful years with us, Kyra was known for her sweet smile and gentle demeanor. But she could also be a small but mighty enforcer,” he shared through tears.
The WWHL host also encouraged anyone who feels compelled to consider making a donation to the Kyra Fund, which supports urgently needed glioblastoma research.
“We’re sending all of our prayers and love to her family and her friends. We love you Kyra,” Andy concluded.
According to the fund’s website, the former WWHL production manager was “diagnosed at 27 years old with a type of glioblastoma multiforme, one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer.”
Kyra was just 28 years old when she lost her battle.
