Big Brother Season 8 star Amber Siyavus died at age 46.
TMZ learned that Amber passed on Friday, as per records from the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner in Nevada.
Amber’s cause and manner of death are both listed as pending.
Sadly, Amber’s family knows heartbreak all too well. In January 2018, Amber’s 18-year-old daughter, Lexi Tomcavage, died in Ohio in what was ultimately investigated as death by suicide.
Big Brother fans will remember Amber from the 2007 season, where she became known as Whamber for her emotional moments in the house. Amber formed close bonds with fellow houseguests Jameka Cameron and Dustin Erikstrup, and she finished in 7th place.
She made Big Brother history as the first houseguest to reach the jury phase without winning a single Head of Household (HoH) or Power of Veto (PoV) competition.
Amber’s chief competitive rival, Dick “Evel Dick” Donato, ultimately won the $500,000 grand prize.
Following the news of her passing, long-time host Julie Chen Moonves shared an Instagram tribute, writing, “Rest in Peace, Amber. Hard to believe, but I know you are back in our eternal home with our Creator. Thank you for your heart and honesty. We will remember you with love.”
