Love Island USA season 7 winner Amaya Espinal shared that she was diagnosed with a chronic illness with her social media followers.
Amaya’s announcement:
The message for Amaya’s papayas began, “I got hospitalized again. But, I am getting discharged today. Thank God.”
“Unfortunately, I have a chronic illness that I am now trying to navigate how to function my new life with it.”
“I never mean to go MIA, and I try my best to be on top of content.” Amaya explained that she gets questions, like why did I go MIA?!”
“I love talking to you guys and making a X made me realize how connected I love being connected with you. I appreciate my papayas for understanding that I never mean to go MIA.”
“My mind is all over the place. I missed the holidays because of this. I’m trying to be grateful, but these flare-ups are painful.”
While Amaya didn’t officially announce her diagnosis, she mentioned ‘GI’ in a comment with a fan. “Me, my GI issues, my papayas, and my apple juice against the world xxx.”
