Alix Earle is finally addressing the breakup rumors.
On December 13, the influencer posted an emotional video to both TikTok and Instagram, confirming her split from NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios.
“There hasn’t felt like a right time or way to speak on this, but I just wanted to sit and talk from the heart the best I can right now,” Alix shared.
Fighting back tears, Alix explained that long distance played a major role in their decision to part ways.
“We have been doing long distance since basically June, and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me,” she admitted.
That strain was only amplified during Alix’s run on Dancing With the Stars season 34, while Braxton was traveling throughout the NFL season.

The experience also sparked a realization that shifted her future plans.
Through DWTS, Alix realized she could see herself moving to Los Angeles.
“I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place.”
Alix also opened up about choosing to prioritize herself—both personally and professionally.
“A part of me really wants to be focusing on myself right now,” she explained. “I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.”
Despite Braxton not placing expectations on her, Alix said she carried a constant sense of guilt.
“I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him,” she said.
“He wasn’t really expecting that of me. I think it was more a me thing, but I constantly felt guilty.”
The former couple remain “best friends,” emphasizing that there’s no bad blood or drama.
