Production for Real Housewives of Orange County chose to move forward without Alexis Bellino for its 19th season.
On the Going Rogue podcast, ‘Jesus Jugs‘ explained that she wasn’t asked to return … even as a friend of.
Alexis is OUT!
“I was not asked back next season,” explained John Janssen‘s mouthpiece fiancé. The former full-time RHOC star from seasons 4-8 was replaced with Johnny J’s ex, Shannon Beador, who remains a fan favorite.
“I can’t say it came as a shock, it did not come as a shock.” But, “It was a hard conversation. I guess I wasn’t really prepared [because] I didn’t think contracts were coming out. I thought we had more time.” So, “it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information.”
Jesus Jugs admitted that being canned from RHOC again “was a little bit of a relief. I mean nobody wants the rejection, and no one wants to [hear] you’re not asked back. But it already happened to me. It happened to me in season 8. I’ve been there, done that!”
Alexis’ place in the RHOC friend group:
Johnny J’s fiancé noted she’s “very good friends” with Jennifer Pedranti and Katie Ginella. On the other hand, she’s still working things out with Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge after feeling hurt by what they said to Shannon in that last scene.
“I didn’t know after that scene, how do I fit in?” Alexis explained. “I still thought there might be a way they can make it work for everybody to come back. But you know, the cards played the way they did.”
Jesus Jugs acknowledged Shannon’s popularity. “How do they bring someone back who is not a fan favorite vs. the fan favorite? And I get that.”

Alexis left a video (sans sound) of her and Johnny J on the blue carpet at Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party.
She captioned the video, “When one door closes, another one opens. Romans 8:28. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.”
Alexis sent a message to her remaining friends on the cast. “Love my girls and wishing them the best season yet. 💖Comments are on now. Please be respectful of my kids reading your hate.”
