Whitney Leavitt is addressing her exit from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
During her final show as Roxie Hart in Chicago the Musical, Whitney announced she was exiting the Hulu reality series.
On May 5, Whitney sat down to address the headlines.
“You’re gonna want to sit down for this video,” she began in her IG announcement.
“I am leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
The popular TikToker revealed she will be a part of season 5, with cameras once again rolling after Taylor Frankie Paul’s DV allegations caused a pause.
“Also yes, it will be my last,” she continued.
“I had been trying to get into theater, film, way before Secret Lives even came into my life,” Whitney said.
The Chicago star went on to say she never imagined reality TV or TikTok would be the route to get her here, but she’s grateful for it.
Whitney also addressed the critique of her coming and going from the group when convenient for her.
“The times I’ve walked away from MomTok came from a place of anger and frustration, but this time is significantly different because I’m leaving with gratitude. I feel content.”
However, this news doesn’t come as a complete shock since Whitney has been honest about her desire to break into the entertainment industry via MomTok.
But it does beg the question:
Will TSLOMW survive this?
