The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is step-ball-changing from TikTok to the Ballroom!
Two of the MomTokers were picked for ABC’s 34th season of Dancing With the Stars, though “most” of the cast “auditioned.”
Congrats to Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt for making the cut!
The announcement:
The exciting news dropped during The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Reunion Special.
The host Nick Viall, who was a contestant on Season 24 of DWTS with Peta Murgatroyd, spilled that Jen and Whitney were “so adored” by the DWTS production crew.
Jen was the first to be confirmed. She had been vocal about her lifelong dream to compete, often sharing dance videos on TikTok.
Whitney Leavitt, a trained dancer, was also chosen. Initially, it seemed only Jen would go, but the host revealed in a twist that both would compete.
Taylor Frankie Paul chimed in. “Jen – it’s been her life’s dream since she was little. But Whitney was an actual dancer.”
After catching the MomTok: Unholy Tea live show in Las Vegas, it’s hard to believe Mikayla didn’t get picked for DWTS.

What to expect from DWTS 34:
The Mormon Wives are the third and fourth celebrities that have been announced for the upcoming season.
The first celeb announced was wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin (the son of the late Steve Irwin and brother of Season 21 champ Bindi Irwin), and podcast host and influencer, Alix Earle.
Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will return as co-hosts. The three main judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough, are all coming back as well.
Dancing With the Stars is set to air on ABC and Disney+ in the fall and will stream the next day on Hulu.
