Together in the real world:
In an interview with US, he detailed the logistics of how the couple is making their long distance relationship work. Charlie and Katherine currently are in a long-distance relationship between London and Los Angeles, but arenāt rushing their next steps. “Iāve been out to L.A. twice to go and see her. Sheās been over to Kent to see me [and] all my family.ā
āWe went on holiday to Amsterdam while she was over here as well and ā¦ we spent loads of quality time together. I really wanted to just spend the time after recording the show and before the show went out to get to know each other again.”
Words of affirmation:
Now that Charlie and Katherine are official, their bond has grown even more. āI tell Kat I love her every day. Sheāll tell me she loves me every day.”
“Genuinely, Iām really happy with Kat, gushed the 21-year old. I needed someone who was maybe a bit older than me [with] a bit more life experience than me in certain areas.” He was looking for “someone who actually pushes me.ā
Growth:
āI think that, in the show, I was very mindful not to take things too far because I did know I liked her and I wanted to actually get to know her properlyĀ on the outside before I committed to being in a relationship or anything like that. Iām glad that I did.ā
āWhen I dated girls in the past, I hadnāt bothered committing myself to them because I genuinely didnāt feel like I was growing with them. I didnāt feel like I was learning anything with them. Everything [from the show] has caused me to grow in this relationship and thatās what I wanted ā¦ and what I feel Iām getting out of it.ā
