Former Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval will defend himself in Rachel Leviss‘s lawsuit against him.
Per reports from In Touch, Sandovalย informed a Los Angeles judge that plans to represent himself in court after parting ways with his lawyer.
Lawyered up down:
The 42-year old reality tv personality filed a substitution of attorney notice in the ongoing legal battle regarding Tom filming an NSFW video of her without her consent.
Varand Gourjian will no longer be working on the case. He and his partner, Tara Karamians, had been working on Tom’s defense for months.
Previously, Tom had another lawyer, Matt Geragos, who he fired after he “misled” Tom into suing Ariana Madix.
Sandoval’s notice to the court explicitly stated he will represent himself moving forward. “He also notified Raquel and Arianaโs legal team of the decision.”
The end of an era:
Bravo TV fans have speculated that Tom fired his lawyer after sharing news he’s Schwartz & Sandy’s and losing his role on Vanderpump Rules to a group of new SURvers.
Tom wrote a goodbye post on Instagram for his co-workers and followers. “With a heavy heart, weโve made the difficult decision to close Schwartz & Sandyโs at the end of December.”
“This hasnโt been an easy choice for my partners and me, but other priorities and commitments have taken hold. While this business venture has been an incredible stepping stone in my life, one I will always cherish, I look forward to exciting new endeavors.โ
