Kandi Burruss’ estranged husband, Todd Tucker, claimed he is living in the guest house because the singer/songwriter failed to give him notice before kicking him out.
TMZ obtained docs regarding Kandi’s allegation that Todd was squatting.
Todd’s response:
Ace and Blaze’s dad filed court docs responding to Kandi’s claim that he was living in the guest home of her Atlanta property without financial contribution.
In his filing, Todd admitted he was living in the guest house. But, he said, it was because Kandi “unilaterally removed” him from the main home. Allegedly, she has directed her family members to relocate his stuff without his consent or court intervention.
Todd said he did not voluntarily leave the home. However, he did not fight Kandi about it with hopes to “preserve peace and stability.” He has been in Georgia caring for their kids while she’s working in NYC.
ICYMI:
Kandi filed for divorce in November 2025. She demanded joint custody, but switched her request to sole custody after Todd requested sole custody.
The star of Broadway’s & Juliet gave a statement to PEOPLE. “After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”
Kandi and her producer husband met while filming the fourth season of RHOA. They announced their engagement in January 2013. Todd and Kandi tied the knot in April 2014.
