Kandi Burruss entertained theater goers, including Andy Cohen and some Real Housewives, in Broadway’s & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
Bravo’s night out:
Among the famous faces in the crowd were Real Housewives of New York City alum Luann de Lesseps, Potomac’s Stacey Rusch, and Dolores Catania & Margaret Josephs from the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Kandi’s 23-year-old daughter, Riley Burruss, was in the audience the same night as the Housewives and her boss, Andy Cohen. ICYMI, Riley currently stars on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC. It was Riley’s second time seeing her mom in the jukebox musical.
It was Andy’s first time seeing the musical based on the music of Max Martin. He told PEOPLE, “I’ve never seen & Juliet, but I always support Kandi.” The Watch What Happens Live host continued, “I love our friendship. We’ve been through a lot. And I just know she’s going to do great.”
Margaret chimed in. “I’m just so excited to see Kandi on Broadway. She’s so multi-talented, I love so many of her songs. And I’m just so excited to cheer her on.”
The reviews are in:
After the musical, Andy and the ‘Wives gathered backstage for a special post-show reception to celebrate with Kandi and the cast.
Stacey gushed, “She was incredible. I knew she could sing, but I didn’t expect how funny she would be! I absolutely loved it.”
“Broadway, that isn’t easy,” noted Luann, who travels as a cabaret artist. “But, Kandi made it look effortless. She was fabulous, darling, wasn’t she?”
