After much back and forth, it’s looking like Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette could be airing after all!
According to TMZ, the current plan is for season 22 to premiere in mid-July, though nothing has been officially finalized just yet.
Sources claim that when ABC pulled the season from its schedule, editors continued working on the series and never stopped cutting the episodes.
That’s a good sign the network has been keeping the door open for a future premiere.
ICYMI: Taylor’s journey to find love was originally set to premiere March 22.
However, shortly before the premiere, TMZ published a video from a 2023 domestic incident involving Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen.
During the altercation, Taylor’s daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Tate Paul, was struck by a stool Taylor threw at Dakota.
Despite the incident ultimately becoming the catalyst for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the network reportedly folded under the online backlash and shelved the season.
There were theories the season could eventually move to streaming or air over the summer, especially considering the time, money, and marketing that had already been invested in it.
