The star of the canceled season of The Bachelorette, Taylor Frankie Paul, commented on a fan video about her domestic violence incident with Dakota Mortensen.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ controversial leader addressed her daughter. Indy ended up with a “goose egg” on her head after her mom propelled a metal chair at Dakota Mortensen.
The kids paid the price of the adults’ actions:
TFP commented that the footage is affecting kids and will continue to haunt them.
“Worst part is my daughter having to relive and see it all over again years later after extensive work with her and apologies to her about that night.”
“And my baby boy’s birthday was taken from him.”

A video leaked of a violent altercation between TFP and Dakota in 2023, which was posted by TMZ. Taylor was seen hitting Dakota while he recorded her.
“This is called physical abuse,” he says as Taylor attacked him. At one point, TFP can be seen throwing chairs at him while her daughter was present in the room. The child can be heard crying and crying out as Mortensen and Paul continue fighting.
Dakota can be heard exclaiming, “Your daughter just got hit in the head by a metal chair.”
The video of Taylor abusing Dakota – and inadvertently her daughter – was released to the masses on TFP and Dakota’s son – Ever True’s – second birthday.
