Sutton Stracke‘s business is doing just fine. Last month, a photo of Sutton’s storefront bearing a “For Lease” sign went viral. A week before that photo made its way around the internet, Taste of Reality visited Sutton’s store. The website said it was open, but it wasn’t … and it hadn’t been open for weeks, according to a delivery person.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was a guest on Jeff Lewis Live and explained the status of her boutique, which apparently still has the ‘For Lease’ sign on it.
Update:
The former Bravo TV personality told Sutton, “I was driving down the chic Melrose Place which is very close to my house. I thought, ‘Oh. I wonder what’s going on at the Sutton store?’ What is going on at the Sutton store is that it’s for lease.”
Sutton let Jeff know the ‘For Lease’ sign was a faux pas on her assistant’s part. “Avi is to blame. I swear to God – I was out of town.” Jeff joked, “You didn’t pay your rent.” Sutton played along. “I didn’t pay rent, so they kicked me out.”
RHOBH’s southern belle explained, “I have expanded and don’t need my storefront anymore. All of my inventory has been put on a pallet and being sent to Houston. The driver’s still smoking pot like Willie Nelson style, On The Road Again. He’s going to Houston with all my inventory to Houston.”
“Regarding Sutton’s current location, “I’m in the back,” she told Jeff. “I have a beautiful unit in the back. So, we’re ‘By Appointment Only.’ Jeff, your dream has come true.”
Jeff asked for clarity regarding the location of Sutton’s physical boutique. She replied, “So that quadrant is really pretty. Like, the courtyard is there. So, redid my unit D. It’s nice. I’ll have my samples only there so that you can come by appointment only.”
