Sutton Stracke’s Boutique Is ‘For Lease’ … We Visited Last Week And It Was Already Closed!

Bravo TV fans are stunned to learn Sutton Stracke‘s boutique, Sutton, is for lease … especially after her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars and cast members from The Valley attended The Sutton Concept’s fashion show in July.

X.com user, Ben Pollack, posted a photo of the exterior of Sutton’s West Hollywood boutique on Saturday, August 17th. The upscale clothing boutique still donned Sutton’s sleek signage but also had a ‘For Lease’ sign.

I couldn’t help but wonder … Why would Sutton host a big fashion show for a brand that is closing its doors? Did she not know this was coming?

Boots on the ground:

Your girls here at Taste of Reality went on a WeHo weekend excursion just last week and swung by Sutton’s boutique, which has been featured many times on RHOBH.

Before attending Bravo’s Diamonds and Rosé experience, we sauntered to Sutton’s for a quick glimpse of how the other half shops. For context, Sutton’s boutique is/was located less than a mile away from SUR, TomTom, and Something About Her and slightly over a mile from the Bravo pop-up.

First things first. I checked the website ahead of time to see days and hours of operation. While I don’t remember the exact hours listed, I knew we had a small window to get there. Google listed Sunday and Monday as ‘appointment only,’ so we ended up at ‘Sutton’ at 1:29 pm on Friday, August 9th, according to our Lyft receipt.

We didn’t realized we arrived at Sutton’s because of the crazy construction outside outside the boutique. It was bad. We noted that the picturesque shop lost it’s curb appeal by the torn up sidewalk and booming sounds. As we approached door, we realized it was closed. According to google, it was supposed to be open, and there were no signs indicating a change of hours.

If Sutton’s was closed because of the construction (which would be understandable), why wasn’t that communicated?

For the record, we peeked inside the windows and the store was fully stocked with  dresses and accessories that cost more than my mortgage. It definitely didn’t feel like the store was closing permanently.

See for yourself!

Intel:

As we were leaving, a delivery man chatted with us. He mentioned that he knows the store’s manager/owner (not Sutton, for the record) and he had been trying to drop off a package for days.

The delivery driver noted that his job doesn’t require him to make more than two attempts for delivery, but he wanted to do a favor for the person at the store he’s friendly with. In other words, he tried more than twice to make a delivery and they were unexpectedly closed.

If the store was temporary closing for construction, wouldn’t they have alerted mail/delivery services?

We want answers:

As ‘Gluttons for Sutton,’ we hope all is well with her business. With that said, something seems off. Sutton, if you’re out there, we’ll take the exclusive!
