Stassi Schroeder revealed she’s been approached to do The Traitors… and she turned it down!
The Vanderpump Rules alum said she’s seen the fan pleas and endless tags pitching her as a dream casting choice for The Traitors US.
“First of all, I’ve never seen it,” Stassi admitted on a recent episode of her newly rebranded STASSI with Tay podcast.
“I’m like the only person in the world who hasn’t seen it.”
Still, even she can admit the show sounds tailor-made for her.
“It’s a castle in Scotland, fashion, figuring out if people are lying — death, I think,” she joked.
On paper, it makes total sense.
But in reality, it’s not happening.
“That actually does sound right up my alley, I just don’t have time for a new show — especially if it’s reality TV,” Stassi said on the Jan. 28 episode.
She also joked that she’d be “the worst version of herself” if she were cast as a Traitor.
Ultimately, the Vanderpump Villa star made it clear her loyalty lies firmly with Hulu right now.
“I just don’t want to cross that pond ever again,” she said.
Reading between the lines, that “pond” feels like a reference to working with NBC again.
ICYMI: Stassi is currently deep in the Hulu world.
She stars in Vanderpump Villa, has her own docu-style series that began filming last fall, and hosts the official Tell Me Lies podcast — all streaming on Hulu.
So for now, The Traitors will have to survive without its most on-brand potential cast member.
