Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Stacey Rusch shared that she and Wendy Osefo have been in contact since Wendy’s arrest for felony fraud charges (and released on $50k bail) during an episode of WWHL.
Stacey has faith in Wendy:
“I saw Wendy last week. It was emotional. I saw her and we just held each other.”
Stacey made it clear, “I support her. I’m her friend.”
“I can’t wait for [Wendy] to tell her story.”
Stacey isn’t the only Bravolebrity to have faith in Wendy:
Former RHOP star Candiace Dillard-Bassett was “floored” by the news of Wendy and Eddie Osefo’s arrests for fraud.
“We don’t know what the charges are for but we know that the Osefos have a very successful marijuana business,” explained the upcoming contestant on season 4 of The Traitors US. They are providing jobs and opportunities for people of color in the area, in the DMV.”
“My first thought is, ‘Are they being targeted? Is this something that we should be thinking about?’”
Candiace said she’s “heartbroken” by the entire situation with Wendy.
Who else has commented on Wendy’s arrest:
Like Candiace, Andy Cohen was upset hearing of the arrest. “I’m sad about this; I’m really sad about this.”
“I’m really thinking about her family and certainly hoping this is all some big, you know, nothing.”
Wendy’s fellow Wife Swap star, Melissa Gorga, held off from saying too much about her legal issues until more information is released.
