Summer House star Kyle Cooke was seen shotgunning a Truly Hard Seltzer despite owning Loverboy, a rival beverage company … and having past issues over others working with competing seltzer brands.
Never forget Kyle’s reactions to seeing Hannah Berner’s advertisement with Truly Hard Seltzer and Craig’s partnership with Spritz Society.
Kyle was caught:
The 43-year-old was snapped holding a Truly drink on its side in pictures that surfaced online. The pictures claim that he was out partying at 5:35 am. While it’s unclear where the photos originated from, Cooke’s wife, Amanda Batula, has since commented that the photos are not from the night she claims he slept at a fan’s house until 6:30 am.
Kyle’s journey to launching his Loverboy has been documented throughout Summer House. Additionally, his reaction to his friends/co-stars getting endorsement deals for other spritz companies was clocked over the years.
Spritzgate:
Kyle had a falling out with Hannah in Season 5 of the Bravo show. He later claimed that her doing a Truly ad led to her getting fired from Summer House in 2021 … and losing his friendship. “The truth is that beef started ’cause I did an ad for Truly [Hard] Seltzer, and I didn’t know that I, like, wasn’t allowed to.”
“I think some of these shows become a lot of egos. And it’s like, ‘It’s my show. It’s my drink. You can’t do that.’ And there are no rules, and it just becomes fighting over egos and screen time, and it’s not that fun after doing it for too many seasons.”
More recently, Southern Charm’s Craig Conover collaborated with Spritz Society, to Kyle’s chagrin. The guys fought about it on Summer House, when Craig dated Kyle’s former co-star, Paige DeSorbo.
Lastly, Jesse Solomon partnered with Truly, but Kyle said he was more “white gloved” about it than Craig was.
