Solange Knowles shared a touching tribute following the tragic passing of Hayden Panettiere.
The Bring It On: All or Nothing actress took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Aug. 18, to share her thoughts and memories from filming the 2006 sequel to the hit movie.
“Rest in peace Hayden. In peace, because you are so deserving of it,” Solange began her tribute.
“We had so many parallels in our lives, and the world watched u so courageously live in your radical truth telling your story: we watched your endless quest for vulnerability, and healing.”
Solange acknowledged that as young girls, they didn’t realize how culturally significant Bring It On: All or Nothing would become, adding that she “honors the work they created together.”
“Reaching people we couldn’t have ever imagined at the time, as two young girls, trying to keep looking to the light. The light surrounds you now. Rest easy Hayden,” Solange concluded.
Beyoncé’s younger sister also added “warriors 4 life” before sharing more photos from the movie.
ICYMI: Beloved actress and activist Hayden Panettiere tragically and unexpectedly passed away in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday, Aug. 15.
She is survived by her daughter, Kaya Klitschko, who lives with her father, Wladimir Klitschko.
Hayden had previously been vulnerable and honest about her decision for Kaya to live with her father amid her struggles with postpartum depression.
The beloved Bring It On actress would have turned 37 this upcoming Friday.
