Shannen Dohertyย is holding grudges from the other side, and I love her for it. The iconic actress from film and television lost her almost decade long battle with cancer, but her feuds will live on in infamy.
Will faux friends show up at Shannen’s funeral?
Since the Beverly Hills 90210 actress suffered so long, she had ample time to plan for her future, even after she would be gone. In a Let’s Be Clear podcast episode from January, Shannon expressed her belief that her earthly nemeses would funeral crash for clout … and she wants no part of it.
“There’s a lot of people that I think would show up that I don’t want there. I don’t want them there because their reasons for showing up aren’t necessarily the best reasons. Like, they don’t really like me and, you know, they have their reasons and good for them, but they don’t actually really like me enough to show up to my funeral.”
“[They’ll show up] because it’s the politically correct thing to do, and they don’t want to look bad, so I kinda want to take the pressure off them and I want my funeral to be like a love fest … I don’t want people to be crying or people to privately be like, ‘Thank God that bitch is dead now.'”
Brenda Walsh VS Kelly Taylor:
While The Heathers actress didn’t name names, any fan of ’90s television knows Shannen didn’t get along with her 90210 on-screen BFF, Jennie Garth. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Shannen and Brian Austin Green discussed the different dynamic between the male cast members versus the females. โIt was always awesome to me that the boys got along so well,” Shannen said.
“You guys were always very supportive of each other and congratulating each other, and it wasnโt necessarily the same with the girls.โ The actor who played David Silver validated Brenda Walsh‘s feelings. He told his former co-star, “I feel like youโre sugarcoating that situation a little bit. I remember it got really rough and competitive for you all, that was not an easy situation to watch.โ
Prue Halliwell VS Phoebe Halliwell:
It was alleged that Who’s the Boss? actress, Alyssa Milano, gave an ultimatum to a producer on the hit show Charmed. She wanted them to choose between her and Shannen. Alyssa claimed Shannen created a toxic work environment. Her co-star clapped back at the claims and doubled down. Shannen claimed Alyssa got her fired so she would be โnumber one on the call sheet.โ
