Scheana Shay isn’t going to be ‘bas frans’ with Candace Cameron Bure any time soon. The Vanderpump Rules star recalled meeting the Full House actress soon after she started on reality TV.
On an episode of the Scheananigans podcast, the Pump Rules personality exposed the actress’ sour attitude at an event she hosted with Lisa Vanderpump‘s daughter, Pandora Todd … which was around the second season of VPR.
The encounter:
“The first time I met Candace Cameron, she wasn’t very nice.” While Scheana was “so excited to meet” the actress who played DJ Tanner, the interaction left her disappointed.
Candace “was so dismissive,” continued Scheana. She explained how she felt she “wasn’t cool enough or big enough to be hanging out with” the actress.
The negative interaction left a lasting impression on the Good As Gold singer as she grew “up watching Full House.” Scheana claimed that since her chance meeting with Candace, she hasn’t wanted “to watch ‘Fuller House’ because of that one experience.”
Name dropping:
Scheana couldn’t resist sharing the following anecdotes …
“I’ve met so many celebrities and actors in my life and hardly any have stood out to me.” Summer Moon’s mom once alleged Nickelodeon actress, Amanda Bynes, was “rude” to her at the Teen Choice Awards. Scheana offered Amanda “all the grace in the world” seemingly because of the abuse she endured as a child star.
“[Even] Kim freaking Kardashian is so nice and humble,” bragged Scheana. “So many huge, A-list celebrities are so nice,” concluded the VPR OG.
