The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper is convinced that Dakota Mortensen is responsible for the video of Taylor Frankie Paul throwing chairs being leaked to TMZ.
During her interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Jessi commented that “TMZ is having the best week ever,” thanks to the video they published that resulted in TFP’s season of The Bachelorette getting canceled.
Jessi’s theory:
CHD host Alex Cooper asked who Jessi thinks is responsible for TMZ’s “renaissance,” compliments of TSLOMW.
“I don’t know who it is,” Jessi began, “but if I had to guess, it’s Dakota, for sure.”
When asked why Dakota would be motivated to hold on to the video for three years, Jessi said it was timed to ruin The Bachelorette for TFP. “I definitely think that [Dakota] has something to do with it. I just think the timing is a little crazy.”
ICYMI, the infamous video from 2023 was leaked on March 19, 2026. Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was slated to premiere on March 22nd.

ICYMI, Jessi and Taylor are besties, as are Dakota and Jordan.
Jessi made it clear that the DadTokkers spend their time gossiping … and possibly conspiring.
Dakota was granted a temporary restraining order against Taylor, as well as temporary custody of their son. Jessi wonders if Dakota influenced Jordan to seek legal action against her.
Jordan filed for a restraining order against Jessi as part of his pending divorce case. Within days, the court rejected Jordan’s request for the TRO.
