Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro finalist AJ Pritchard’s fiancée, Zara Zoffany, had some harsh words after Rylee Arnold was tasked with partnering with AJ … and Rylee is now responding.
In an interview with It Girl, Rylee addressed Zara’s comments and opened up about the support she received from fans and Dancing With the Stars judges, including Shirley Ballas.
“Honestly, comments like that, I feel like I’ve gotten used to. Sometimes it’s really hard to see something like that,” Rylee admitted.
Rather than creating more drama, the DWTS pro chose to focus on the positive response from her supporters. “But at the same time, I have grown so much respect for my fans and for the people who love and support me. It’s been so nice to see people who have backed me up,” which included Shirley Ballas.
Rylee also appeared determined to take the high road when discussing Zara. “I honestly just wish everyone the best. I understand backing up your loved ones,” she said. “I totally get that. I just hope that all is well and all is good.”
Rylee is currently competing on Dancing With the Stars Season 35 with YouTube star Connor Wood. The duo performed a Cha-Cha to Tim McGraw’s “I Like It, I Love It” during the season premiere.
Rylee joined the DWTS pro lineup in Season 32, making her professional debut alongside reality TV personality Harry Jowsey. The pair finished in sixth place.
In Season 33, Rylee and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik made it all the way to the finals, ultimately finishing in fourth place.
Last season, Rylee partnered with Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying, with the pair finishing in 10th place.
