Even though Robyn Dixon is no longer on RHOP, that doesn’t stop her from having an opinion.
Robyn and her podcast co-host, Gizelle Bryant, recapped the current drama between Ashley Darby and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan.
ICYMI: Ashley revealed on the show that she had a brief moment of passion with Charrisse’s son, Jackson.
In episode Potomac and Ponies, Charrisse found out about it and teased Ashley when Jackson arrived during the family fun day.
However, once viewers called Charrisse out on social media for her cavalier demeanor about her son hooking up with her friend, her tune changed.
Charrisse later told Carlos King that she thought it was a joke, which is why she poked at it during filming.
Once she realized it was true, Charrisse felt it was “incestuous” and said Ashley should view her son like her own.
Cut to Ashley hearing the interview clip between Charrisse and Carlos.
Ashley called out the “friend of” for acting “buck” online while smiling in her face. She also emphasized that both parties were fully consenting adults.
Which Robyn actually agreed with.
Robyn’s POV
In fact, Robyn said that if one of her friends had hit on her son when he was in his late twenties, she wouldn’t mind.
What she would be upset about, however, is how Ashley brought it to the show.
Especially since Charrisse was only a “friend of,” and her personal life isn’t a topic of interest.
“Number one, [Ashley] didn’t need to tell her…it doesn’t change anything. It’s none of Charrisse’s business,” Robyn added.
“It’s none of Charrisse’s business what her adult son does — it’s none of Charrisse’s business what adult Ashley does.”
Ultimately, Robyn believes Ashley’s only wrongdoing was making the hookup public.
