Candiace Dilliard-Basset is having a BOY!
The Real Housewives of Potomac alum exclusively revealed to US Weekly.
“I started to feel a masculine energy,” she tells the mag.
“I just couldn’t deny the feeling of a sweet little boy growing inside of me.”
Candiace’s Journey to Motherhood
Earlier this year, the Drive Back singer announced she was departing from RHOP after 6 years.
Throughout her last few seasons, we witnessed Candiace navigate marriage. From becoming a stepmom to 3 children, purchasing a home, and inquiring about IVF, the Dillard-Bassetts bared it all during their newlywed era.
However. Candiace did tease her departure from the network wasn’t a “farewell” rather a “see you later.”

Candiace on Baby Boy
Candiace is embracing her momma era. In the same article with US Weekly, she revealed that her son’s nursery will be “Alice in Wonderland” themed. Though she is eager for his entrance, she’ll miss this “magical” and “indescribable” experience.
As for pregnancy cravings, Candy girl is getting her fix of “Olive Garden spaghetti with meat sauce, Apple Jacks cereal and watermelon have been the top contenders.”
“I’ve also had a few stretches where all I wanted was smash burgers … that was a great time.”
The Deep Space singer says her baby will make his debut this FALL!
Since summer is coming to a close, that means baby boy will be here soon.
I’m so happy for Candiace and Chris. Selfishly, I do wish we got the opportunity to witness Candiace become a mother. I don’t blame her for prioratizing her mental health and physical well-being while pregnant.
Last season was brutal for she and Wendy. I can’t imagine being pregnant and having to deal with Ashley Darby (who likely would have been on her neck since Candiace was on her during her pregnancy.)
Although since Candiace will have a boy, and forehead, I mean, Ashley has 2, I could see this playing out on a future season.
Or at least, here’s hoping.
