Cynthia Bailey‘s ex, Peter Thomas, is out of prison, but remains under community confinement supervision of the Miami Residential Reentry Management Office, according to the Bureau of Prisons website.
According to reports from TMZ, the Real Husband of Atlanta is out of FCI Miami, and is either living in a residential reentry center (AKA a halfway house) or he’s held in home confinement.
Post-Prison Peter:
Life has improved for Peter since his release. He shared a video on Instagram from his new digs Thursday night, dancing to T.I.‘s Let ‘Em Know.
ICYMI, Thomas pled guilty to one count of failure to pay trust fund taxes in December 2024. Allegedly, he owed the IRS $650K from his employees’ wages in trust fund taxes connected to a restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Thomas was sentenced to 18 months behind bars and he reported to FCI Miami on August 1, 2025. Just more than six months later, Peter is out of the pen.
PT’s scheduled to be released from RRM Miami [a halfway house or home confinement] in August 2026. Then, he will begin 2 years of supervised release. He’s been ordered not to drink to excess or use narcotics after getting out as well.
Peter was also ordered to pay $2.5 million in restitution to the IRS.
